Make!

I seriously don't get why A LOT of pa-sushal pinoys use the word MAKE then followed by a tagalog verb (a.k.a action word). It's really annoying and doesn't sound nor look good. For example, "Yaya, can you please MAKE LABA my clothes?" or "Let's MAKE LUTO some pasta." Can't they just say it in straight english or tagalog? Like, "Yaya, can you wash my clothes?" or "Let's cook some pasta." Now in tagalog, "Yaya pwede po bang pakilabahan ang mga damit ko?" or "Magluto tayo ng pasta." See it's not that hard. Here are some phrases that I always hear/read from pa-sushal pinoys. Yes, I say pinoys because they (the pa-sushal ones) are the only ones I know who do this kind of thing! Now if i'm wrong, please correct me. Anyway, here are some popular "make" phrases..

* make sawsaw = dip!
* make kain = eat!
* make luto = cook!
* make nood = watch!
* make sumbong = tell!
* make bawi = make up/make it up!
* make sama = go with/come with!

Seriously, it's annoying with a capital A. LOL.
